The Genie Within is a light hearted, no-nonsense, simplistic but highly effective Home Study System. It is a MUST for those looking for a very simple, affordable, yet powerful and attainable method of transforming their life into something better.

I recently came across the Law of Attraction, a natural law that states my entire life – all people, experiences, situations and so forth - are magnetically drawn to me, this as a result of deep rooted thought patterns, emotions and beliefs that are within me.

That what I vibrate, I create! Or that what I see in my world 'out there', simply mirrors those thoughts, emotions, and beliefs 'within me'.

To change anything permanently in my life, I must first change the energy pattern – the deep rooted thoughts, emotions and beliefs - within myself into something more positive. Purely thinking more positive will not work.

Instead, I have to learn how to access my subconscious mind and how to re-program it. So I searched the internet on the subject of the conscious & subconscious mind, hoping to find my answers. There was so much to choose from, all promising me my answers, most looked complex and in depth, and nearly all charging vast amounts of monies.

I was ideally searching for - a complete Course together with CD's, that included a Book with all the key subject information that was simplistic in its language and explanations, plus a Self Help Manual of effective and practical methods, and that the whole package was affordable.

I entered the name The Genie Within in the Google Search Engine, and discovered a PDF Download, offering me the opportunity to read – The Preface, Introduction and Chapters 1 – 3 for FREE.

The book Contents looked impressive with 8 chapters, a sequel chapter and 239 pages in total, all beginning with an apt Parable. The Preface clearly explained that it is a 'how to' type of book and written for both adults and teens.

The Introduction clearly outlines what each chapter in the book will teach, and inspires confidence in the author – a man who walks his talk – someone that has first hand experience of the miraculous ability of the subconscious mind, the genie within.

It explains how, for the benefit of the reader, a very complex subject has been put together in layman's terms with simplicity being the theme. This combined with a light-hearted approach towards developing new positive habits or techniques.

This book felt like fun, an easy to read and apply manual of how to re program the subconscious mind. Chapters 1 – 3 presented subject information comprehensively yet in a simplistic easy to read manner, and offered clear instruction on simple but effective proven methods.

I then discovered there was a FREE website www.thegeniewithin.com. I was instantly impressed with the information, the sincerity and the simplicity with which it was presented. The website also offered me the opportunity to read Chapters 1 – 3 for FREE.

The book is also a best seller in Taiwan which further inspired me, as I am British yet live and work in Thailand. I have a Philippine wife and together we have a 10 year old son. The Genie Within is intended for my entire family – a native speaker, a non native speaker and a teenager.

I then checked the Book Reviews on www.amazon.com, whereby I discovered ONLY positive feedback and excellent reviews for this book. I found from 34 reviews, only a couple of reviews were less than totally complementary.

One negative comment was that the book offered nothing new on the subject, yet was still recommended as a good foundation for beginners. And the other negative comment related to grammatical errors, and a couple of spelling mistakes.

The book review feedback, both positive and negative, led me to the belief that the remaining chapters in the book must also be great. Although not essential, some of the book reviews highly recommended the two accompanying CD's that are an optional purchase.

Upon checking the website, I discovered that the first CD, the CD - Guided Relaxation Routines - will guide me through all the 8 visualization routines, which is great as I am quite forgetful.

The alpha and theta brain states are the doorways into the subconscious mind, and the key to all success. It will take no great effort on my part to enter into those brain states, only to relax and listen to the Metronome CD – the second CD.

As a result of the comprehensive check I had made, as I outlined above, I had no remaining doubt that I had found the system I was looking for in a single book, free website and 2 CD's.

The products were perfect for my family and very affordable for the complete package. It also all came with a money back guarantee! Living in Thailand with no credit card, makes online purchases difficult. Plus, in my experience anything shipped to Thailand, either arrives after a few months or not at all.

For help I directly contacted the author, who dealt with me as if I was making 1000 orders and not just one. Harry Carpenter is a true gentleman, with the words sincerity and down to earth best describing him.

I have been extremely pleased with my purchase. The book gives so much information, and offers so many methods with everything being so simply explained; even my ten year old son can understand and easily practice the methods.

Hence, my first ever book review in that I hope helps YOU to make a good decision, and removes the headache of what to choose, especially when there are so many so called 'miracle courses' on the market. In my experience, complex and more expensive is not always better!

I have concluded that reading more and more books on this same subject will not bring about success any quicker for my family. The key to success is no different to learning to first operate a PC, or drive a car – it is about Repetition, Belief and Persistence using the methods outlined in the book.
